My dark diaries will be a new series here on FixMyBrokenMind.
Through this series I want to communicate my past experiences with depression, anxiety and chronic fatigue in more detail than I would be able to in other posts.
Every post will be written as though it is an in-detail journal entry of what a day-in-the-life felt like for myself.
The Dark Diaries
Many of us face debilitating problems in our lives. Unfortunately, many of us are also afraid to talk about these same problems.
Perhaps you don’t know how to express your situation. Maybe you are scared of how others will react.
Whatever the case, you are not alone.
My goal is to illustrate what it feels like to be someone who suffers from mental and physical health problems for no obvious cause or reason.
In doing so, I hope that some of you that are struggling can relate to me and perhaps even feel a sense of relief knowing someone else is going through the same struggles that you are.
Furthermore, if I can shed any negative stigmas towards mental health through this series that would be superb.
People who have never been through troubling times simply cannot process the pain many individuals go through.
Maybe, just maybe, I can re-frame some peoples concepts of what these issues actually look like to those of us unfortunate enough to get caught up in them.
They aren’t made up issues, nor are they choices made by any of us.
As I am sure you are aware, this is just a series intro.
I will use it in the future to connect all of my journal entries.
This series will be full of passion and honest recollections. Perhaps I can get some first hand experiences from my readers as well to further spread these messages.
If you find the dark diaries series useful and would like to contribute contact me. If you write with passion, I would love to share your story for the benefit of others.
